My studio is located in Ashburn Virginia, just a 35 minute drive from Washington D.C. I offer a wide range of photography services ranging from simple headshots suitable for business or dating profiles to well thought out portraits of yourself or your family where we can discuss style, makeup, attire and the overall mood and feel you would like for your look.
After the shoot I will go through your photos and make minor edits and retouching. I will supply you with the full resolution files and put up an online gallery for you to order prints and a whole range of other options for your photos.
With a focus on excellent client service, my environment is a very friendly, positive and easy going atmosphere. I offer refreshments and light snacks.

John Fishlock
Having worked as a graphic artist and a pet photographer for the past 25 years I decided to turn my attention toward portraiture. (of actual people) There is nothing more exciting to me than capturing someone in wonderful light, sculpting the human form with lights and producing wonderful shadows. Getting that great image of someone and their true spirit is something that has never grown old. I enjoy the whole artistic process of image making.
My father was also a photographer and was my inspiration. Learning photography—and in particular portrait photography—has been a dream come true for me. I have studied at the Washington School of Photography and also The Corcoran School of Art and Design. I continue to polish my skills daily as I study many of the current and latest styles within the field of portraiture.
Giving back has always been a big part of my life. I started volunteering at The Loudoun County Animal Shelter in 2018 as their studio photographer. Trying to find homes for the animals at the shelter is of most importance to me and I am grateful to be able to offer my services.
